The following is a list of regulatory actions that were published in the Federal Register during June.
Proposed NESHAP for the paints and allied products manufacturing area source category.
Final rule granting a petition for reconsideration with respect to the 5/16/08 implementation rule for PM2.5 and granting a stay on a "grandfathering" provision for PM2.5 contained in the PSD program.
Notice of a proposed settlement agreement in a lawsuit filed by the American Petroleum Institute, petitioning for EPA review of rule requiring NSPS for new stationary compression ignition internal combustion engines whereby EPA agrees to propose revisions and to issue related guidance.
Final rule reaffirming the promulgation of certain revisions of the Acid Rain Program rules that have been effect since mid-2006, despite the fact that CAIR and the CAIR FIPS that were finalized in the same Federal Register notices were later remanded.
Notice that EPA has designated a new method for measuring concentrations of PM10 and PM2.5.
Proposed amendments to the general provisions of the stationary source audit program, allowing accredited providers to supply stationary source audit samples and requiring sources to obtain and use these samples from the accredited providers rather than EPA.
Notice of draft report, "Risk and Exposure Assessment to Support the Review of the Secondary National Ambient Air Quality Standards for Oxides of Nitrogen and Oxides of Sulfur: Second Draft."
Final rule amending the National Volatile Organic Compound Emission Standards for Aerosol Coatings which establishes national reactivity-based emission standards for the aerosol coatings category under section 183(e) of the Clean Air Act.
Final rule amending the Renewable Fuel Standard program requirements, addressing comments made on previous changes and finalizing withdrawn provisions.
Final rule allocating essential use allowances for import and production of Class I ozone-depleting substances for calendar year 2009.
Final rule revising the area source category list by changing the name of the "Secondary Aluminum Production" category to "Aluminum Foundries" and the "Nonferrous Foundries, not elsewhere classified" category to "Other Nonferrous Foundries," and issuing final NESSHAPs for the Aluminum Foundries, Copper Foundries, and Other Nonferrous Foundries area source categories.
