Trinity Consultants Partners with Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP)
Trinity Consultants announces its partnership with Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), in the area of Education and Training. An international consulting firm that specializes in air quality issues and sustainability, Trinity is also a recognized provider of professional training on a wide variety of EH&S topics including greenhouse gas emissions accounting and reporting. CDP is the world’s largest voluntary environmental information reporting organization. It selects a limited number of country training partners that have demonstrated expertise in quantification and disclosure of climate change related data from global corporations and professional training capabilities on related issues.
“CDP is pleased that Trinity Consultants has become a specialist CDP education and training partner in the U.S.,” said Paul Robins, Head of Corporate Partnerships. “Trinity’s climate change and sustainability expertise and training capabilities will be of great value to companies responding to CDP.”
The CDP annual information request is intended to determine how the world's leading companies are taking action in response to climate change. The organization works with over 650 investors holding US$78 trillion in assets to assess risk across a broad spectrum of sustainability considerations, including greenhouse gases (GHGs) in direct operations and across supply chains, climate change risk and sustainable water use. In partnering with CDP, Trinity will enhance its training efforts on enabling global corporations to measure, disclose, manage, and share environmental information.
Rich Pandullo, Director of Sustainability and Environmental Management at Trinity noted, “Trinity is excited to be a training and education partner with CDP. We feel that this alignment will strengthen our ability to assist organizations with learning why and how to participate in CDP as well as the broader issues of sustainability and environmental management.”
Providing professional training on climate change-related issues and many other EH&S topics is an essential element of Trinity’s business. The company teaches approximately 1,500 EH&S professionals each year in its intensive short courses.
