Trinity Consultants, an environmental consulting firm with offices nationwide and in China, has been joined by George Schewe, a respected Certified Consulting Meteorologist (CCM) and Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) with 33 years of air quality consulting experience. Mr. Schewe is an expert in performing a wide variety of environmental assessments associated with air pollution emissions from industrial and mobile sources. He will be based in Trinity’s Covington, Kentucky office, but will be a valuable resource to clients nationwide.
Over the past three decades, Mr. Schewe has participated in the development and application of air dispersion modeling related to New Source Review permitting, state and federal air toxics analysis and risk assessments, control technology assessments, and State Implementation Plan preparation. He has also performed complex air quality modeling analyses associated with fugitive emissions, mobile source emissions, regional air quality assessments, chronic and acute exposure analysis, and has served as a consultant and testifying expert in numerous toxic tort litigation cases. Mr. Schewe has taught several courses on air quality modeling and meteorology for EPA’s Air Pollution Training Institute and as an adjunct professor at the University of Cincinnati and at Cincinnati State University, and he was recently elected Chair of the Air & Waste Management Association’s AB-3 Meteorology Committee.
