The Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) completed a monitoring network assessment in 2015, with the 2016 Monitoring Network Plan intended to meet the requirements for an annual monitoring network plan. The original comment period lasted from May 27th to June 28th. Due to comments received during this period, revisions were made to the 2016 plan and published November 15, 2016.
- Addition of two sulfur dioxide (SO2) monitoring stations southwest (#03) and north (#04) of the Labadie Energy Center as seen in the figure below.
- Relocation of the Foley monitoring station by March 2017, within 4 kilometers (KM) of the original location (due to a change in property ownership).
