Webinar Series: Air Quality Compliance for Chemical Sector Area Sources - Part 2: Calculating Emissions

Air quality compliance for chemical manufacturing facilities has always been a complicated endeavor. Large chemical facilities are subject to complex federal regulations and have been a key focus area for EPA enforcement for over a decade. Smaller sources that are HAP and Title V minor sources have been subject to less scrutiny over that time. However, their complexity for compliance can be just as great, as the need to maintain a detailed facility-wide emissions inventory below major source thresholds and evaluate process changes and new products for NSPS and area source NESHAP applicability can place significant burden on environmental staff who, unlike their large facility counterparts, are often charged with managing multiple regulatory programs. This webinar series focuses on important air quality compliance topics for these smaller chemical operations.

Trinity is presenting a series of webinar focusing on air quality compliance topics for smaller chemical operations. Over a month period, Trinity will present 3 separate 2.5 hour webinars covering several related topics.

Webinar topics
  • AP-42 - the basics of storage tanks, liquid loading, dry material handling
  • Beyond AP-42 - diving into batch processes, wastewater, dry material handling (again)
  • Fugitive equipment leaks - default factors and how to apply them
