TRI Reporting Half-Day Workshop

Under the Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) Program, industrial facilities are required to inventory the amount of select toxic chemicals that they manufacture, process, and otherwise use each year and to prepare TRI reports for toxic chemicals that trigger reporting. TRI reports are annual summaries of a plant’s air, water, and waste releases that are made available to the public. Complying with the TRI program can require a large amount of effort and attention to detail. Even with years of TRI reporting experience, it is easy to make a mistake or fail to document critical assumptions. With EPA actively reviewing TRI data and using the data to guide their regulatory and enforcement priorities, there is never a better time to make sure your TRI is accurate and consistent with all of the available EPA guidance.
