June 13, 2011 (Dallas, TX) – Trinity Consultants, an international environmental consulting firm that specializes in air quality issues, environmental management, and sustainability, hired John P. Fillo, Ph.D., CPEA to assist in supporting clients’ climate change-related challenges, sustainability initiatives, and E&S compliance management systems. Dr. Fillo has spent the past 30 years in consulting, initially specializing in multimedia EH&S permitting, compliance, and risk management and, for the past decade, focusing on sustainability, climate change, environmental financial reporting and disclosure, and enterprise risk and business performance consulting. He also has a broad record of leadership from program development and management to practice development, performance reporting, and strategic investment planning.

In addition to supporting many U.S. and global Fortune 500 companies, Dr. Fillo has extensive public and international experience. Most recently, he served on a project management team developing a Strategic Sustainability Performance Plan for a U.S. governmental agency. Dr. Fillo received a B.E. in Chemical Engineering from Pratt Institute and an M.E. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University. He is a Certified Professional Environmental Auditor (BEAC) and a member of the Auditing Roundtable and Institute of Internal Auditors, as well as AWMA and AIChE. He also serves as a Vice President on the Board of Directors for the Pennsylvania Resources Council, one of the Commonwealth’s oldest citizen action environmental organizations.
