Earlier this year, Trinity acquired E5, Inc., expanding its capabilities in southern California. Similar to Trinity, the E5 team provides services on environmental permitting and compliance as well as GHG emissions management and strategies. E5 staff are known for their expertise on South Coast AQMD permitting/compliance and most of their team members are Certified Permitting Professionals (CPP). E5 staff members are also very experienced in addressing requirements associated with California’s AB-32 GHG rule, providing support on cap-and-trade strategies, reporting, verification, and compliance. E5 staff are accredited verifiers under AB-32 program. Combined with E5 resources, Trinity is now one of the largest and most active Verification Bodies in California.

E5 was founded in 1995 by Steve Walters, a Registered Professional Engineer in California, CPP from South Coast AQMD, accredited lead verifier from CARB, and licensed attorney with the California State Bar. Steve is a veteran environmental consultant with 20+ years of experience in serving various California industries. Steve and his staff have joined forces with Trinity’s Irvine office, under the direction of Trinity veteran, Vineet Masuraha.

Vineet commented on the expanded capacity to assist clients in southern Californian, saying, “E5 brings additional technical expertise, resources, and environmental regulatory knowledge to our California operations. We are very happy to have the staff of E5 join our operations as our combined strengths will enable Trinity to better serve our existing and new clients.”
