(MSI), a Trinity Consultants company in Salt Lake City, Utah, has earned the nationally recognized Certified Consulting Meteorologist (CCM) designation by the American Meteorological Society (AMS). At Trinity, Mr. Adamson applies his meteorological expertise by collecting and analyzing ambient meteorological and air quality data for industrial clients and government agencies. His experience includes the integration and maintenance of meteorological and air quality instrumentation, analysis and quality assurance of ambient data, and performing complex air dispersion modeling analyses. These data are used to establish regulatory compliance with national and state ambient air quality standards, develop a scientific understanding of the spatial and temporal distribution of emissions and their impact on air quality, and provide air quality information to the public. Mr. Adamson earned a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from the University of Utah in 2007 prior to joining MSI.

According to George Wilkerson, CCM and director of ambient monitoring services, “The CCM board of the American Meteorological Society has confirmed what we already know here at MSI; Scott is an extremely talented, knowledgeable and proficient meteorologist and conducts himself with the utmost character and professionalism. Scott becomes the third CCM at the Salt Lake City office, which allows MSI to better serve the air quality and meteorological consulting needs of our clients in the Great Basin and across the country. We are very proud of Scott’s achievement and privileged to have him as a colleague.”
