Companies in Georgia and throughout the Southeast will benefit from the recent merger of Trinity Consultants’ Atlanta office with Smith Aldridge, Inc., an environmental consulting company with similar air quality focus and notable strength in the food processing and minerals industries. Smith Aldridge was founded in 2002 with a focus on providing high level strategic consulting to clients on environmental issues to effectively manage risk to the client organization. Smith Aldridge provides a wide range of services related to air, water, and solid waste including permitting support, cap and trade, and compliance management.
Mike Remsberg, Trinity’s Eastern Region Managing Director commented on the transaction, “We could not be more pleased to be joining forces with Smith Aldridge to better serve companies in the region that face environmental challenges. Smith Aldridge is a respected provider of air quality and related environmental compliance services and their expertise will be synergistic to Trinity’s Atlanta office staff. The two firms also have great cultural compatibility, with a focus on excellence in technical work and client care.”
Smith Aldridge founder Dr. Craig Smith was equally optimistic. “We are extremely pleased to complete this transaction to join with Trinity. It provides enhanced service strength for our clients as well as greater career growth opportunities for our staff. And, combining with Trinity’s Atlanta team creates an air quality powerhouse in the Southeast.”
The combined Atlanta team will operate under the management of John Wilcox, PhD, who has led Trinity’s Atlanta office since 2007, in partnership with Dr. Smith. The combined group will relocate to new office space in April in the Buckhead area.
