Trinity Consultants, a nationwide firm that provides environmental compliance services for industry, announces the opening of its first Asian office in Hangzhou, China, 150 miles west of Shanghai. The Hangzhou office provides Trinity’s full service line, including technical environmental consulting, the development and support of environmental management information systems, air dispersion modeling, and professional training to both multinational and Chinese organizations.

Leading Trinity’s Hangzhou office is Dr. Hung-Ming (Sue) Sung, 17-year Trinity veteran. Dr. Sung, China Regional Director and Senior Technical Manager, specializes in environmental management, impact assessment, accidental release analysis, air quality research, air pollution control technology evaluation, and noise analysis. Fluent in Chinese, Dr. Sung is a frequent author and speaker on air quality issues, and teaches professional development courses on a variety of environmental topics. Dr. Sung received her Ph.D. degree in Environmental Engineering from Vanderbilt University. Under her direction, the Hangzhou office, which is staffed by Chinese consultants, is focused on providing excellent environmental consulting services to local clients in China and the Eastern Asia region.
