In 2018, Rob Large joined Trinity Consultants as Managing Consultant on the EHS Performance & Risk Management team. Rob has more than 28 years of environmental and occupational health and safety compliance experience and over 17 years of auditing experience.
During his career, Rob has served in various roles for the US Department of Defense and several large industrial companies. He has been a Lead Auditor for enterprise and single site audits, collaborating on the development of EHS management systems, and participated in compliance programs for storm water and spill prevention, occupational health and safety, employee training, emergency planning and release reporting, emergency response planning, integrated contingency plan development, underground storage tank management, Phase I environmental site assessments / due diligence, and waste management.
Rob's varied expertise has already proven to be of great value to Trinity's clients. He has led teams of auditors on multi-day site evaluations, developed and reviewed audit finding reports, and led client meetings to discuss noncompliance corrective actions. Rob has conducted Phase I environmental site assessments / due diligence, solid waste management, and waste characterization, including field and laboratory sampling and analysis.
Rob is highly knowledgeable regarding EPA and OSHA regulatory requirements as well as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements in industrial applications. He is a Certified Professional Environmental Auditor (CPEA), a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), and certified HAZWOPER/HAZMAT technician. Rob graduated with a B.S. in Environmental Science from Ohio State University, and earned his M.S. in Environmental Management from the University of Findley, in Ohio.
