MSGP DMR Deadline Extension and Upcoming Features in myDEQ for Stormwater Permitting

The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) has extended the Multi-Sector General Permit (MSGP) Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR) submission deadline to help permit holders comply with the new Federal e-Reporting rule that goes into effect for Arizona in 2018. All 2017 MSGP DMRs that were due by July 15, 2017, will now need to be submitted to ADEQ online through myDEQ by September 15, 2017. No paper DMRs are being accepted since July 15, 2017.

Additionally, all existing/new NOIs received before June 1, 2017 must be migrated to the company's myDEQ account by December 31, 2017. Companies can now obtain their NOIs and NOTs via myDEQ without having to fill out any paper applications.

Starting August 2017, users in Submitter and Data Entry roles will be allowed to prepare applications and submit compliance reports, on behalf of RCOs/DROs company's myDEQ account.

Another convenient feature is that the users can set email reminders for all upcoming reporting due dates and submittals for the permit through myDEQ.
