The Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD) will be hosting a two hour workshop on September 7, 2017 focused on upcoming changes to the BAAQMD California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines and Thresholds of Significance. The workshop will allow attendees to provide early input on potential concepts for CEQA air quality and greenhouse gas thresholds in the Bay Area. The proposed update stems from substantive changes to data and assumptions used in the 2010 updates to the CEQA guidelines, recent court decisions and legislative action related to air quality and greenhouse gas emissions, and improved mitigation measure strategies. Logistical details for the workshop are provided below; note that no registration is required. A representative from Trinity Consultants will be attending the workshop and can be contacted at egeller@trinityconsultants.com.
