If you or your facility have supported climate change mitigation funds and would like to know where those funds have been invested, click here.  There are also opportunities to receive those funds through the California Natural Resource Agency's California Climate Investments programs.  One of these programs is the Urban Greening Grant Program; the draft guidelines for this grant program are available for public comment through December 5, 2016.  The Urban Greening Program specifically invests in projects that transform the built environment into more "sustainable" places through enhancing "connectivity" for walking and bikes, creating parks and open space, improving air and water quality, and reducing energy consumption.  If you'd like to comment on the Urban Greening Program Guidelines, email or mail a comment letter to 1416 Ninth Street, Suite 1311, Sacramento CA 95814 by December 5th.  For more information on all of the Resource Agency's grant programs, click here.
