The San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD) will be hosting an AB617 workshop to gather community feedback on the development of a community-specific emission reduction program in Shafter and South Central Fresno. The California Air Resources Board (CARB) selected these two communities to receive clean air resources with the goal to reduce emissions in these communities.

The final version of the emission reduction program will be presented for approval at the District Governing Board meeting on September 19, 2019. This public workshop will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 5:30PM in the SJVAPCD's Fresno office at 1990 E. Gettysburg Ave, Fresno, CA 93726, or via teleconference. More details can be found on SJVAPCD's AB617 website.
