On May 8, 2018, Ventura County Air Pollution Control District (VCAPCD) approved proposed amendments to Rule 42, Permit Fees. Effective July 1, 2018, VCAPCD will increase permit renewal fees by 2%. For most facilities, the proposed change will result in a fee increase of $12 per year. VCAPCD states that the rise in fees is justified by the lack of property tax or general fund revenue received by the District. Further information on the revisions can be found in VCAPCD's Staff Report.
