The Illinois Pollution Control Board (IPCB) adopted amendments to 35 IAC 225 - Control of Emissions from Large Combustion Sources on June 26, 2009.  These amendments will allow the state to retain the monitoring provisions outlined in the federal Clean Air Mercury Rule (CAMR), which was struck down by the courts late last year.  In addition, the revision provides the full explanation of the monitoring requirements; whereas, the previous IPCB rules only incorporated the CAMR rules by reference.
