Highlights from the call include:
- IDNR has begun processing applications with fees submitted or with hourly fees assessed. They feel the process is proceeding smoothly and do not plan to recommend any fee increases at this time. Current fee schedule can be found on the Air Quality Fees webpage.
- Regulatory certainty rulemaking is still under review. The draft rulemaking package can be viewed on the Stakeholder Involvement website.
- IDNR plans to record several SLEIS training sessions and have those posted on the website before the end of the month.
- IDNR is working on initial data gathering and design for an eAirPermitting system that would be a replacement for SPARS. Comments will be solicited from stakeholders later this year.
