Forecast on Kansas Air Regulatory Agenda



The Kansas Department of Health & Environment (KDHE) is working on revisions to air regulations in order to:

  1. Update Class I operating permit application and emission fee requirements.
  2. Amend Class II operating permit application fees and emission inventory due date.
  3. Establish Class II emission fee requirements.

KDHE had anticipated having the proposed rule changes available for public comment in summer 2017. At this time, the date that KDHE will publish any proposed rule changes is unclear.
