The Kansas Department of Health & Environment (KDHE) is working on revisions to their air regulations in order to:
- Incorporate by reference the New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) that were in effect by July 1, 2016.
- Incorporate by reference the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) and Maximum Achievable Control Technologies (MACT) that were in effect by July 1, 2016.
KDHE is working towards having proposed rule changes available for public comment by winter 2017.
