Pursuant to the requirements in Code of Massachusetts Regulations, 310 CMR 7.12, applicable facilities are required to submit their source registration emission statements to the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) every year per the stipulated deadlines. The MassDEP has issued the 2010 filing schedule for source registration submittals spread out over several months in 2010 as follows:
April 15, 2010:
Submittal due for Operating Permit facilities
May 17, 2010:
Submittal due for non-Operating Permit annual filers
June 1, 2010:
Deadline for a portion of the facilities filing every 3 years
July 15, 2010:
Deadline for a portion of facilities filing every 3 years
August 2, 2010:
Deadline for remaining facilities filing every 3 years
If your facility is a non-operating permit facility (not a Title V major source) and it is not required to submit source registrations annually (per the permit), then the specific deadline for submittal for your facility will be communicated to you by the Department via a letter. The submittal deadline will be one of the three dates mentioned above (June 1, July 15, or August 2, 2010) for such a facility. Source registrations are required to be submitted electronically using the Department's web-based software.
