The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) published final amendments to New Hampshire Code of Administrative Rules Env-A 500 Standards Applicable to Certain New or Modified Facilities and Sources of Hazardous Air Pollutants. The amendments incorporate updates promulgated by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) to the following federal new source performance standards (NSPS) encoded in 40 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) part 60 and national emission standards for hazardous air pollutants (NESHAP) regulations encoded in 40 CFR parts 62 and 63, as in effect on July 1, 2016 unless noted.

  1. 40 CFR 60 Subpart XXX, Standards of Performance for Municipal Solid Waste Landfills that Commenced Construction, Reconstruction, or Modification After July 17, 2014 (as effective on August 29, 2016);
  2. 40 CFR 60 Subpart AAA, Standards of Performance for New Residential Wood Heaters;
  3. 40 CFR 60 Subpart QQQQ, Standards of Performance for New Residential Hydronic Heaters and Forced-Air Furnaces;
  4. 40 CFR 62 Subpart LLLL, Standards of Performance for New Sewage Sludge Incineration Units;
