The updated General Industrial Storm Water Permit OHR000006 was released on May 8, 2017. This new permit requires a Notice of Intent (NOI) to be submitted electronically through Ohio EPA's STREAMS database, which is now available.

On June 14, 2017, the Ohio EPA sent out letters to all facilities that are currently covered under the General Storm Water Permit. This letter sets the NOI submittal deadline of September 22, 2017 for facilities to renew coverage under the general discharge permit. Facilities that fail to submit the NOI will have their existing coverage terminated. To view Ohio EPA's letter, click here.
