A new progress bar has been added to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) Permit Search Tool. The new progress bar, replacing the Permit Milestones table, is displayed at the bottom of the Permits and Permit Applications tab on each facility's Permit Tracking page. WDNR added the new progress bar to offer a visual status of a facility's permit process.

The progress bar is comprised of multiple blue-shaded sections that are associated with each step of the permit application review process, and as each step is completed, a section of the progress bar will be filled. Hovering over a section will display text indicating the step that has been completed and the associated date. If WDNR has requested additional information, a construction symbol will appear in the progress bar. If there are any questions on what information has been requested by WDNR, facilities can contact the assigned permit writer. When the entire progress bar is blue, the air permit has been issued.
