2018 Toxic Substance Reduction Plan: Updates and Compliance Requirements

The Toxics Reduction Act is Ontario's strategy to reduce the use and creation of prescribed toxic substances. The goal of the Toxics Reduction Program is to help protect human health and the environment by reducing the use and creation of prescribed toxic substances while informing Ontarians about prescribed toxic substances. This course is aimed to help facilities with current plans in place to understand their requirements set out in the Toxics Reduction Act, 2009 (Act) and Ontario Regulation 455/09 (Regulation) to prepare new versions of plans prepared between 2012 and 2017. This 1/2-day course covers:
