TRI Reporting Workshop - Half-Day

Under the Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) Program, industrial facilities are required to inventory the amounts of select toxic chemicals manufactured, processed, and/or used each year and to prepare TRI reports. Complying can require a large amount of effort and detail. Even with years of TRI reporting experience, it’s is easy to make a mistake or fail to document critical assumptions. EPA is actively reviewing TRI data and using the data to guide their regulatory and enforcement priorities. Learn more about common errors and understanding the guidance. This new ½-day workshop addresses the following:

  • Correctly categorizing metals versus metal compounds for TRI applicability and reporting purposes
  • Correctly applying the de minimis threshold when conducting your TRI applicability analysis
  • Correctly reporting TRI chemicals that are listed as ranges in the SDS
