Under the Cleaner Air Oregon (CAO) Program, industrial facilities are required to inventory the amount of select toxic chemicals that may be emitted each year. From wood products to chemical plants, emissions generated from similar equipment (e.g. storage tanks) may be quantified by totally different approaches. This course will provide methods used to calculate emission associated with toxic chemicals and specific examples of different methods to determine emissions from the same source types. Attendees will come away with tips to better manage emissions reporting and calculate/estimate emissions from common industrial processes. This course is intended for:
