AP-42 Chapter 7.1 Revisions and TankESP as a Software Solution

Have you incorporated the U.S. EPA AP-42 Chapter 7.1 (Organic Liquid Storage Tanks) revisions to estimate emissions from storage tanks? Do you know how the revisions impact the emissions from storage tanks? Have you migrated away from using the outdated U.S. EPA TANKS software that is no longer accepted by the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality for air permitting and reporting purposes?

If the answer to any of the above question is “No” or you are interested in learning more about the AP-42 Chapter 7.1 revisions, please join us for a complimentary workshop. The workshop will cover key revisions including:

  • Adjustments to critical temperature equationsand factors;
  • Newly added emission calculation methodology for tank cleaning and degassing events;
  • Newly added emission calculation methodology for tanks storing heated product and partially/fully insulated tanks;
  • Updates to meteorological data; and
  • Guidance for estimating emissions from low-pressure tanks.

Join us to learn more about these revisions including the impact on emissions based on a handful of case studies. During the workshop, an overview of Trinity’s TankESP Software Product Suite will also be provided. TankESP is a software solution for those needing a replacement for U.S. EPA TANKS or any other outdated software. TankESP is widely regarded as the most accurate tank emission calculation tool available on the market because it was designed by Rob Ferry, one of the authors of the finalized AP-42 Chapter 7.1 revisions.
