Laurie LaPat-PolaskoDr. LaPat-Polasko is the National Director of Remediation for Matrix New World Engineering. She has a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Maryland, a M.S. and Engineers Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Stanford University, and a B.S. in Biology from Chatham University. She combines her knowledge of biology, environmental engineering, and microbiology to develop and design innovative “bioremediation” approaches to clean up contaminated sites around the world. She has evaluated and implemented various remediation approaches for PFAS contaminated water

Taryn McKnight – Eurofins

Taryn McKnightTaryn McKnight, PFAS Practice Leader for Eurofins Environment Testing America based in Sacramento, California, has nearly 20 years of experience in the environmental testing industry specializing in PFAS and Vapor Intrusion assessments. She is responsible for staying abreast of the latest regulatory and scientific developments specific to PFAS, while collaborating with Eurofins operational leadership to develop services to meet the challenges of today and in the future. With this expertise Ms. McKnight provides technical guidance to clients, agencies and industry personnel across the country. With 20 years invested in PFAS method development and analysis, Eurofins has demonstrated leadership in this field of testing, supporting an analytical approach that provides consistent and defensible data in a world that lacks standardization for PFAS methodologies.

John Goetze – Trinity Consultants

John Goetze Mr. Goetze is an Associate Consultant in Trinity’s Boise, ID office and is familiar with the science of PFAS chemicals and how they are used in various industries. He is one of Trinity’s forerunners for determining which industrial processes will be subject to new Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) reporting requirements for PFAS. Mr. Goetze provides TRI reporting assistance; air permitting and compliance support; as well as noise assessments and modeling. His experience primarily covers Idaho, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, and Utah serving industries such as semiconductor manufacturing, metals mining, coating operations, and food production.
