Native Plants Preservation & Compliance
Trinity Consultants and WestLand’s landscape architecture and environmental professionals have significant experience in the assessment of native plant communities and the development of native plant preservation and mitigation documents. We have consistently developed realistic preservation and mitigation solutions based on the existing site resources and the requirements of the reviewing agencies. We work with project planners, engineers, and agency staff to ensure these plans achieve our client’s project goals and satisfy the requirements of applicable codes and ordinances.
Native plant assessment fieldwork is conducted by our experienced field technicians, who have the biological training to accurately identify and assess native plants and determine their salvageability. WestLand utilizes technologically current sub meter GPS data collectors to accurately record plant locations and data about each plant’s species, size, health, and viability. Collected field data is loaded directly to CAD files to expedite the production of Native Plant Preservation Plans.
